Festival Service, Perth Youth Orchestra

One of the great traditions of Perth Festival of the Arts is our annual Festival Service in St John’s Kirk.
We were delighted that the annual Festival Service went ahead online, led by Reverend John Murdoch of St John's Kirk.

You can watch the service online here. Featuring music beautifully performed by Perth singer Liam Bonthrone and students from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and readings by Festival Administrator Helen MacKinnon and Sue Hendry, Lifetime Friend of the Festival and Elder of the Church.

Our annual Festival Service in St John’s Kirk is one of the great traditions of Perth Festival of the Arts. It is always an inspirational and uplifting event, and also a great civic occasion. The members of Perth Youth Orchestra normally join the choir and organist of St John’s Kirk and raise the roof of this historic building. Tune into our Facebook page on Monday 25 May, 1-2pm, for music by Perth Youth Orchestra, as we pay tribute to all of the young musicians who were due to perform at this year's Festival.
