Join Perth Festival of the Arts for an afternoon/ early evening (from 2pm-8pm) of live music in a relaxed, family-friendly setting at Perth's friendly live music venue, The Twa Tams.
The event is unticketed, FREE and open to all ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Mist & Wing
On stage: 2pm
Mist & Wing make music that welcomes you in. Country-tinged indie folk from Scotland, with captivating harmonies, heartfelt lyrics and choruses that invite you to sing along. 2026 sees them working on new material to be recorded soon. In the meantime, the pair have maintained a steady performance schedule, supporting the likes of NATI and headlining King Tut’s in Glasgow. For fans of The Civil Wars, Angus & Julia Stone, Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings.
Francis Bondd and the Magik Boys
On stage: 3pm
Francis Bondd is Glasgow’s beloved busker and entertainer. In 2024, Francis embarked on a busking tour across Scotland with his guitar and PA system, performing in cities such as Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Largs, Ayr, and Greenock. Through street performances and the sharing of high-energy videos online, Francis built an organic fanbase in Glasgow. His performances have gone viral, gaining over 10 million views across TikTok and Facebook, as well as thousands of streams on Spotify.
Stephen McCafferty
On stage: 4pm
Stephen McCafferty is an Edinburgh-based indie singer-songwriter, performing primarily as a solo acoustic act while also recording and releasing fully produced material. His songwriting explores themes of meaning, memory and modern dislocation, with an emphasis on strong melodies and big choruses. Stephen has been releasing original music consistently and performing across Scotland, building an audience through live shows, independent releases and grassroots support.
Midnight Wild
On stage: 5pm
Midnight Wild is an alt-folk duo, known for their "wonderful musicianship, great songwriting and gorgeous harmonies". Their music invites listeners on an authentic journey through life's dance between light and dark. The duo had a brilliant 2026, kicking it off with the Danny Kyle stage at Celtic Connections. They have released their debut EP, “One More Thing” which has received airplay on Heartland FM and Celtic Radio among others. Graeme Taite of Americana UK noted its “exquisite harmonies”, calling it “hauntingly atmospheric”.
Time Stands Still
On stage: 6pm
Time Stands Still is a five-piece rock band from Perth. They made their debut in 2025 with the single Nowhere and have since played shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Perth, including performances at Twa Tams and the Joan Knight Studio. Their sound blends evocative storytelling with driving, riff-led energy, drawing on classic rock emotion and modern alternative edge. Led by the raw, heartfelt vocals of frontman Liam Hesslewood (Neshiima), our songs combine soaring melodies, heavy guitars, and explosive rhythms. Rooted in nostalgia but focused on forward momentum, we aim to deliver high-impact tracks that stay with the listener long after the final note.
Crashes

Crashes are a Glasgow-based four-piece crafting a bold blend of pop rock and dreamy pop, balancing soaring hooks with atmosphere. Known for energetic, immersive live shows, Crashes have built a reputation on the Glasgow scene. Their dynamic sets move seamlessly between shimmering pop moments and heavier rock hooks all with synced up visuals. The band has received airplay on BBC Scotland Introducing and BBC Radio 1 Introducing, marking them as a rising act with growing national attention.
