It all began in the late 1960s when writer and music critic Conrad Wilson declared that ‘Perth is an ideal festival city, without a festival’.

For the past 50 years, the Festival has passed through the creative hands of local people who rose to the challenge of putting Perth on Scotland’s festival and cultural map.

Our Anniversary Exhibition at Perth Museum & Art Gallery tells the Festival’s story over the past five decades. Enjoy reviews, archives and photos from the past, browse our festival artwork, and share in a wide collection of Festival memories from artists, audiences and the festival team.

The Exhibition will also contain digital features including videos and interactive content that you can enjoy online.

Admission to the Museum is free.

10am to 5pm (4pm on Sunday).
Closed Wednesday.
