Schools Lunchtime Concerts

Our Schools Lunchtime Concert series is one of the highlights of our annual Festival. Each weekday lunchtime at 12.30pm in St John's Kirk, we will welcome the instructors and young musicians from Perth & Kinross schools for an inspiring concert series showcasing the talents of hundreds of young musicians.

The concerts cover a range of styles, including choirs, instrumental ensembles, soloists and the upbeat sounds of Perth & Kinross Big Band. 

The concert series offers the perfect opportunity to pop along and enjoy a short Festival concert on your lunch break. 

The concerts will run on Thu 16, Fri 17th, Mon 20th, Tues 21, Wed 22, Thu 23 and Fri 24 May for approximately 1 hour. 

Please note that the concert on Wednesday 22 May will begin slightly earlier than previously advertised at 12.15pm, running until 1.15pm

These events are unticketed and admission is free.

Tuesday 21st May - Craigclowan Preparatory School

Wednesday 22nd May - Mixed Schools Concert - Starting 1215pm.

Thursday 23rd May - Glenalmond College 

Friday 24th May - Perth Academy
